Festetics Palace

The construction of the palace began in 1745 by Kristóf Festetics. The 34-room building was rebuilt and extended three times in the 18th and 19th centuries. Today, the Baroque castle with 101 rooms is one of the 3 largest palaces in Hungary built in this style.

Balaton Museum

The permanent exhibition, opened in the second half of 2009, uses modernised installations and a new approach to show visitors the present and past world of Lake Balaton. Family and child-friendly program.

Ferris wheel

The 50-metre Ferris wheel welcomes guests from 1 May to the end of September on the shores of Lake Balaton. The attraction, consisting of 30 6-person cable cars, can accommodate up to 180 people at a time and offers a fabulous view of the Hungarian sea.

Pine allée

Pine allée is one of Keszthely’s special attractions, located parallel to the road 71 from Keszthely to Balatonszentgyörgy. In the past, the double row of black pine trees connected the courtyard of the Festetics manor and Fenékpuszta estate.
